The Global Awards for Excellence in Lung Cancer Journalism were launched by the GLCC in November 2011 to recognise excellence by individual journalists or media outlets in raising awareness of the biggest cancer killer.
The overall prize for 2015 has been awarded to pulmonologist Sander de Hosson for his candid and moving article, 'The Final Couplet'.

Global Award for excellence
The Global Award for Excellence in Lung Cancer Journalism recognises journalists, or media outlets, that have excelled in raising awareness of the world's biggest cancer killer.
Our new study, 'Symptom awareness and attitudes to lung cancer', provides data from a Global Poll conducted during 2017. The study reveals levels of sympathy towards lung cancer and awareness of its symptoms worldwide.
