CanSurvive

CanSurvive is one of Egypt’s leading groups for cancer patients and survivors; we work to provide cancer advocacy, resources, education and support to patients.

What We Do For:

 Patients:                  

• We provide information to help patients better understand their disease and treatment options 
• We offer tools for self-advocacy empowering patients and survivors and enabling them to educate others
• We connect patients and survivors to share experiences on coping with cancer
• We offer access to medical and psychological support to reduce emotional distress associated with diagnosis 
• We provide transportation for cancer patients in housing units to their treatment centres

Family, friends and caregivers:

• We educate those caring for cancer patients on how to best support them 
• We offer expert support to help cope with the impact of learning that a loved one has cancer  

The Community:   

• We campaign for better cancer care and support patients’ fair access to treatment·  
• We offer opportunities to support cancer patients through volunteer work
• We raise awareness of prevention and early detection where applicable
