At the 13th World Conference on Lung Cancer, our objectives are to:
- Share and discuss recent advances in prevention, imaging, early detection and treatment of lung cancer
- Review advances in the molecular biology and pharmacogenomics of lung cancer and how they apply to personalizing medicine
- Discuss tobacco control methods being utilized throughout the world
- Evaluate results from recent clinical trials related to lung cancer and mesothelioma
- Review palliative care options for patients with lung cancer
- Support the career development of fellows and junior faculty with an interest in lung cancer
