At the 13th World Conference on Lung Cancer, our objectives are to:

• Share and discuss recent advances in prevention, imaging, early detection and treatment of lung cancer
• Review advances in the molecular biology and pharmacogenomics of lung cancer and how they apply to personalizing medicine
• Discuss tobacco control methods being utilized throughout the world
• Evaluate results from recent clinical trials related to lung cancer and mesothelioma
• Review palliative care options for patients with lung cancer
• Support the career development of fellows and junior faculty with an interest in lung cancer
