Lung Cancer Patient's Foundation (Fundacion Pacientes de Cancer de Pulmon)
The main objective of the Lung Cancer Patient's Foundation is the prevention of lung cancer, research and better attendance of people affected by this disease. The objective until the end of 2007 is to establish the Foundation allowing it to grow little by little, to continue recruiting new members and to make its objectives more ambitious year by year. The plan for the first three years is based on learning to work and organise ourselves as a Foundation, the diffusion of the Foundation and the development of information plans about lung cancer. The core activities will be a Lung Cancer Awareness Campaign set up to interact with other NGO's in Argentina, create anti smoking campaigns, provide a wide variety of activities towards prevention of lung cancer and work closely with health authorities (especially providing patients, tools for access to medication and treatments).
