The key aims of our organization are to decrease the incidence of lung cancer and other tobacco related diseases, as well as to improve the management of lung cancer patients in Slovenia. In our opinion, there is a great need to start activities focusing on tobacco related diseases, patient support and co-ordination of multi-level oncology disease management. We aim to increase lung cancer awareness among patients and non-patients, give guidance on healthy lifestyle for possible prevention of the disease and the importance of early diagnosis.
