Virtual consultations will never replace face to face meetings essential for building patient trust and relationships, according to a new report from four leading UK lung cancer organisations.

See the collaborative report compiled by Lung Cancer Nursing UK, the British Thoracic Oncology Group, UK Lung Cancer Coalition and Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.

90% of virtual consultations during lockdown have been via phone, says the new report, with only 13% of patient appointments conducted via video.
