Study makes key recommendations to assist patient enrollment, access and improved patient outcomes

I am excited to share the news that the co-authored publication, “Impact of Coronavirus Disease 2019 Pandemic on Global Lung Cancer Clinical Trials: Why It Matters to People With Lung Cancer’’ has been accepted and is now in press for the Journal of Thoracic Clinical and Research Reports.

Secretary of the GLCC, Jesme Fox, is among the co-authors of this article, which is a follow-on to the IASLC Global Survey of COVID-19 Impacts on Lung Cancer Clinical Trials.

The co-authors make recommendations to various stakeholders that could – or should – be implemented urgently to facilitate trial enrollment, access and improving outcomes.

I want to thank all the co-authors for coming together to add the patients’ perspective on this pandemic.
